We’re sure you’ve been there, you have some photos on one device, maybe a friends iPhone that you would like to save on your device, maybe an Android/Samsung tablet but short of sending emails or Message/Messenger/Whatsapp messages there seems no way. Well here is a quick and simple “fix” that works, requires no logins and no apps to be downloaded – welcome to Snapdrop.
From a browser (e.g. Safari, Chrome, Firefox) on each device, whilst both devices are connected to the same Wifi network, simply connect to the website snapdrop.net
As if by magic you will see the other party appear in the browser window with some pretty random device names admittedly. You can then tap on their icon, exchange messages and send any files or photos you like. It really is that simple and quick when you know how.
